FAQ

What tests is the PDV system suited for?
It is primarily used for the design and validation of fuze flyers, dynamic material mechanics testing, and velocity measurement of various high-speed moving objects.
What does the system consist of?
The standard configuration includes a fiber laser, a frequency-modulated laser, a spectral Doppler velocity interferometer, optical probes (1–8), optical alignment cards, a cabinet, fixtures and dedicated test software; a high-speed oscilloscope, computer and additional optical probes are available as options. The PDVLab data-processing software performs velocity inversion and 3-D reconstruction.
